  • Notifications: To send reminders, updates, and important messages. Notifications are optional and can be managed in device settings.
  • Microphone: To record audio pins. Audio is only recorded when you press the microphone button and is private to your account.
  • Billing: To process pin packs and subscriptions. Payments are handled through secure providers; we do not store payment info.

To operate effectively, we partner with specialized service providers for secure data storage, user authentication, and payment processing (such as the Apple App Store and Google Play). These partners may collect limited technical and transactional information to ensure the reliability and security of our services.

Terms & Conditions

1. Account Creation

You must create an account with a valid email and password. You are responsible for maintaining your account security and confidentiality.

2. User Conduct

You may not use Ekko for unlawful purposes or violate others’ rights. You may not attempt to access other users’ data.

3. Payment & Subscriptions

  • Ekko offers pin packs ($1.99 & $4.99) and monthly subscriptions ($9.99).
  • Payments are processed through secure third-party providers.
  • All sales are final; refunds are at our discretion.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled through your account settings.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

4. Digital Goods

  • Pins are digital, non-refundable items.
  • Unused paid pins remain available until used or until your account is deleted.
  • All sales are final; refunds are at our discretion.
  • If your account is terminated for violation of these terms, unused pins may be forfeited.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your content. By using Ekko, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide and improve the service. We do not claim ownership over your personal pins, insights or reflections.

7. Service Availability
